Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Copy Report Options from a Favorite

You can copy the options from a favorite report to use as the basis of a new report, instead of creating the new report from scratch. You can also copy report options from a favorite and then apply them to an existing report.

Prerequisite: Select a report.

To copy report options:

  1. On the Actions bar of the Reporting form, select Copy Options From.
  2. On the Copy From Favorite dialog box, select the favorite report with options that you want to duplicate and then click Copy.
    The selections for the report options in the favorite report are applied to the current report.
