Define Image Properties

When you add images to a proposal, you can specify the default properties for the image.

Prerequisite: In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.

To define image properties:

  1. In the General Elements section, drag the Image element to the location on the proposal.
  2. Click the image in the proposal.
  3. In the Edit Image Properties pane, adjust the image's size, color, border, and so on.
  4. To change the image that displays, click the Change Image link, browse to and select a new image, and then click Open to insert the new image.
    The image file must be one of the following formats: GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, or .BMP.
  5. To set the image opacity or rotate the image, use the Adjust fields.
  6. Click the Crop button to resize or crop the image; to crop the image:
    • Drag the slider beneath the image frame to resize the image and increase or decrease the portion of the image that is within the frame.
    • Drag the right or bottom border of the image to change the portion of the image that is within the frame.

    Any portion of the image outside the frame is cropped when you save the image.

  7. Use the Border fields to define the weight or style of an outside border of an element.
  8. Use the Size fields to define the height and width of the image.
    Click Reset to Original Size to return the element to its original size.
  9. Use the Position fields to set the position of the element on the proposal page.
  10. On the Actions bar, click Save.
