Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Choose Image Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to select an image for the proposal.

Field Description
Record List This list displays the records selected for the proposal. Select a record from this list to specify the image to insert in the placeholder for that record.
Image Source Select the source of the image that you want to upload: File Attachment, Link, or Local. After you select a source, the fields that are specific to that source display.
Save Click this option to save the records and insert the images into the proposal. The proposal builder returns to edit mode, where you can continue inserting elements and using the Edit Record Layout options.

File Attachment Grid

The Files grid displays the files that are stored for the hub record. This grid supports various file types, such as image files, Microsoft document files, word processing files, drawing files, spreadsheets, and so on.

Field Description
File Name This field displays the file name of the attached file. This file name is defined by the attached file's native program and cannot be changed.
Description When the attached file uploads, this field automatically copies and displays the name of the file that is listed in the File Name field. You can change the description of the file to something more meaningful if you like.
Category Select a category for the attached file. This allows you to classify the types of files you attach to each hub record and provides a way to sort the files (by classification). Your system administrator defines the categories to meet your organization's specific requirements.

Link Grid

This grid includes the URLs, email addresses, and links to files and graphics that are stored for the hub record.

Field Description
Description Enter a brief description of the file link or URL, to help you distinguish the file link or URL from other files.
Path This field displays one of the following:
  • The complete link path for the file.
  • The complete HTTP, FTP, email, or newsgroup address for a URL. Click the address to go to the Web, FTP, or newsgroup site, or to open and send an email.

To edit a file link path or URL, select the field and then edit it.

Local File Grid

When you set Image Source to Local File, a Browse option becomes available.

Field Description
Browse Click this option to open the Browse dialog box, which you use to locate and select the file that you want to upload. Or, you can use standard Windows functionality when in the browser to drag and drop a file from your desktop onto the grid.
