Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the API Authorization Form

Use the fields and options on this form to generate the ID and the secret for your application in order to access Vantagepoint through the API.

Field Description
Client ID After you click Generate Secret, this field displays your client ID for authorization to access Vantagepoint through the API.
Client Secret After you click Generate Secret, this field displays your client secret for authorization to access Vantagepoint through the API.
Database Name After you click Generate Secret, this field displays the database name that you are logged into for authorization to access Vantagepoint through the API.
Generate Secret Click this button to have Vantagepoint generate the client ID and client secret for API access.
