Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Withholding Codes (Key Conversions)

Use the Key Conversion utility for withholding codes to change a withholding code or to close out (consolidate) withholding code data into a single withholding code.

You can consolidate data between two existing withholding codes. Alternatively, you can set up a new withholding code in which to close out withholding codes that are no longer in use.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vantagepoint database.

Combine Withholding Codes

You can combine withholding codes using the Combine Records tab of the Withholding Codes form. Applications that use the withholding codes that were combined are updated across Vantagepoint.

Change the Code of a Withholding Code

You can change the code that is assigned to a withholding code using the Change Number tab of the Withholding Codes form. Applications that use the withholding codes that were modified are updated across Vantagepoint.
