Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Units (Key Conversions)

Use the Key Conversion utility for units to change a unit number or to close out (consolidate) unit number data into a single unit number.

You can consolidate data between two existing unit numbers. Alternatively, you can set up a new unit number in which to close out unit numbers that are no longer in use.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vantagepoint database.

Combine Units

Use the Combine Records tab of the Units form to merge existing duplicate unit records. The unit defined under Existing Unit Number will merge into the unit defined under New Unit Number. Combining will merge the records and all associated details and transactions.

Change the Number of a Unit Record

Use the Change Number tab of the Units form to change the number for existing unit records. The unit will be updated as well as any associated details and transactions.
