Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Connect Sync Options Email Configuration

Use the Email Configuration fields in Connect Sync Options to enter a user's Outlook password or update the password if it was changed. This applies when you use the Direct Logon synchronization method with Microsoft Exchange.

Mail Server Settings

Use these options to enter the mail server information for the Connect user.

Field Description
User Name (May be Domain\User Name) This field displays the user name/email address or domain URL for the mailbox.
Password Enter the mailbox password.
Exchange Web Services (EWS) URL

This field displays the Exchange Web Services URL for the user.

If the EWS URL is not auto-populated, contact your Microsoft Exchange administrator for the URL and to ensure EWS is enabled in Exchange.

Change Email or Account Server

Use these fields to change the email connectivity information.

Field Description
Change Click this option to access the Email Address and Password fields.
Email Address Enter the user's Outlook email address.
Password Enter the user's Outlook password.

Advanced Setup

The Advanced Setup options display when you select Click here for Advanced Setup\Username EWS URL Configuration link. Complete these options to configure email connectivity and to specify the use of Exchange Web Services URL manually instead of using auto discover.
