Define Element Properties

After you insert elements into a proposal, you can define the properties for one or more elements such as lines, images, text boxes, and section breaks, at the same time. Properties include the color, size, position, and general attributes of the element.

Prerequisite: In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.

To define the element properties:

  1. Select one or more proposal elements on the page.
The Settings pane updates to reflect the type of element that you selected. For example, if you select a text box element, the Edit Text Properties pane displays.
  2. Use the fields in the Edit Properties pane to set the element's properties.
For example, you want to change the color of two text boxes that display in the proposal. Select both text boxes and then, in the Edit Text Properties pane, use the Background Color option to specify a background color. Then use the Opacity option to enter a number that represents the percentage of transparency for the background color. The background color of both text boxes changes to match your selections.

For more information, see Edit Text Properties Pane.
