Set Table Properties

After inserting an estimate table into a proposal, you can use the Table Properties pane to specify the formatting for the tables and rows, and cells within the tables. Each table within the proposal can have its own specific format or you can specify the same format for all tables.

To format the estimate table:

  1. Select the estimate table or row that you want to format, or use CTRL + click to select more than one table or row.
    The Table Properties pane displays.
  2. If not expanded, click Table Styling on the Table Properties pane to open the properties specific to the table.
  3. Click in each field and use the properties options to format the table:
    Property Function
    Size Set the height and width of the table. Alternatively, you can drag and drop an edge of the table to change the table size.
    Position Set the position of the table on the proposal page.
    Text Specify the text properties for the table, including font, style, size, color, and alignment.
    Border Define the weight or style of the table borders.
    Color Define the background colors used on the table, including if you want to alternate colors by row.
    Number Options Specify the format for all numbers and currencies on the table.
    Cell Padding Specify the amount of space between the text and the perimeter of the cell.
    Size Define the row height and column width percentage.
  4. On the Actions bar, click Save to save your changes.
