  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Define Page Properties

You define the properties for each page of the proposal, including page orientation, size, width, headers, footers, and so on. Page properties are defaulted from the document properties, but you can change them for each individual page.

The properties are applied to the active page only. Open each page individually to establish different properties for the remaining pages. Alternatively, you can use document properties to set the page properties for all pages in the proposal at once.

Prerequisite: In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.

To define page properties:

  1. In the Settings pane, select Properties, click Page Properties and select the page for which you are defining properties.
  2. Set the paper size.
  3. Set the page width and height.
  4. Specify the page layout orientation.
  5. Specify the top, bottom, left, and right margins.
    The unit of measure (inches or millimeters) defaults to the measure that is specified in Document Properties and cannot be changed.

    If your unit of measure is inches, use decimals for fractions of an inch (for example, 0.75 or 1.20).

  6. If Headers and Footers are specified in Document Properties, the same option is selected for the page.
    Use options in the Page Properties pane to set the header and/or footer properties for the active page. See Insert Headers and Footers for more information.
  7. Specify the background color and opacity.
    If you know the numeric representation for the background color, enter it in the Background field. Otherwise, click in this field to open the custom color palette. Move the + slider to the desired color on the palette and then use the vertical slider to specify the gradient of the desired color.

    For the Opacity, enter a number that represents the percentage of transparency (lightness) for the background color. The lower the percentage, the lighter the color. For example, if the background color is set to royal blue and the opacity is 50%, the color will be a lighter shade of royal blue than if it were set to 100%.

  8. On the Actions bar, click Save.
