Navigate through Sections and Pages

As you build a proposal, you can insert pages and add sections on those pages to organize the proposal information. For easy navigation, the Sections and Pages pane provides a detailed listing of your proposal's individual sections and pages.

To navigate through sections and pages:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.
    If there is already a draft of the proposal, the sections and pages that are inserted in the proposal display in the Settings pane.
  2. Click in the whitespace of any page to ensure that you do not have another element selected.
  3. Select an action from the following table:

    Sections Select the Section Break icon from the General Elements pane and drag it to the desired location on the proposal. Click in the whitespace of any page to ensure you do not have another element selected. Click Sections and Pages > Sections. A list of sections and the pages that they are associated with display. Click a section link to go to it on the proposal. When you first add a section to the proposal, the Section Properties dialog box automatically displays. Enter the Section Name.

    If the section was previously added to the proposal, hover over the section and click to define the properties.

    Pages Click + Add Page at the bottom of the page to insert a page in the proposal. Continue this process until all pages are added. Click in the whitespace of any page to ensure you do not have another element selected. Click Sections and Pages > Pages for a list of pages and the sections they are associated with. Click a page link to open it on the proposal. Each page in the proposal is represented by an image in the Pages pane.

    Under Settings, click Properties > Page Properties and select the desired page to define the page orientation, size, and margins.

    To change the page order, go to Sections and Pages > Pages and click the placeholder of the page that you want to move. Drag it to the new location in the Pages pane.

  4. On the Actions bar, click Save.
