Insert a Line

Use the Line element to insert horizontal or vertical lines on the proposal.

Prerequisite: In the Navigation pane, select Proposals > Custom Proposals and then create a new proposal or open an existing proposal.

To insert a line on a proposal:

1. Drag the or Line placeholder in the General Elements section in the left-hand pane onto the proposal and drop onto the page.
2. To set the line properties, click one or more lines and use the Edit Line Properties pane to set features for the selected lines:

   Option	Description
   Opacity	Enter a number that represents the percentage of transparency (lightness) for the background color. The lower the percentage, the lighter the color.
   Weight	Select the weight (thickness) for the line.
   Color	If you know the numeric representation for the line color, enter it in this field. Otherwise, click in this field to open the custom color palette. Slide the + selector to the desired color on the palette and then use the vertical selector to specify the gradient of the desired color.
   Width	For horizontal lines, specify the width of the line.
   Height	For vertical lines, specify the height of the line.
   Position	Select the top and bottom location for the line's position.

3. To change where the line displays on the page, drag the line to a new location.
4. On the Actions bar, click Save.
