Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Table Properties Pane

Use this pane to define the properties for each table in the proposal.

Table Styling

Make selections in these fields to determine the style of the estimate table.

Size

Use these fields to set the size of the table.

Field Description
Height, Width Use the arrows to change the height and width of the table.

Position

Use these fields to set the position of the table on the proposal page.

Field Description
Top, Left Use the arrows to change the location of the element box on the page.

Text

Use these fields to specify the text properties for the table.

Field Description
Font Select the font for the text.
Style Select the style (bold, italic, and so on) for the specified font.
Size Select the size for the font.
Color Click in this field to open the custom color palette and select a color. You can select colors by entering CMYK values, a Hex #, or RGB values, or you can use the swatches on the right to select a Pantone color.
Alignment Select an alignment option for the text: Left (left justified), Center (centered), or Right (right justified).

Border

Use these fields to define the weight or style of the cell borders.

Field Description
Weight Select the weight (thickness) for the border.
Color Click in this field to open the custom color palette and select a color. You can select colors by entering CMYK values, a Hex #, or RGB values, or you can use the swatches on the right to select a Pantone color.
Sides Select the border options for the cells. Choose None if no borders are needed.

Color

Use these fields to define the colors used on the table.

Field Description
Background Specify the background color for the selected element. Click in this field to open the custom color palette and select a color. You can select colors by entering CMYK values, a Hex #, or RGB values, or you can use the swatches on the right to select a Pantone color.
Alternate By Select to alternate background color by row or column.
Odd: 1,3.../Even: 2,4... Specify the background colors for the odd and even rows. If you know the numeric representation for the background color, enter it in this field. Otherwise, click in this field to open the custom color palette. Move the + slider to the desired color on the palette and then use the vertical slider to specify the gradient of the desired color.

Number Options

Use these options to specify the format for all numbers and currencies on the table.

Field Description
Currency Click the link to open the Format Currency dialog box and specify the currency to apply to the table.
Number Click the link to open the Format Number dialog box and specify the numbering format to apply to the table.

Cell Padding

Use these fields to change the amount of space between the text and the perimeter of the cell. This allows you to shrink or expand text without changing the size of the cell.

Top, Bottom, Left, Right Use the arrows to change the margin between the text and the edge of the cell.

Size

Use these fields to set the size of the element.

Row Height Select the height of the row.
Column Width % Use the arrows to set the width of the column.
