Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Supporting Document Dialog Box in Interactive Billing

Use this dialog box to view, upload, and delete supporting documents and override the automatic printing of a supporting document with invoices if a project's billing terms specify that supporting documents always print with invoices.

The Supporting Document dialog box has some different content and capabilities, depending on how you open it in Interactive Billing:

  • When you open the dialog box by clicking Other Actions > View Supporting Documents on the Interactive Billing form:
    • The dialog box displays the supporting documents for all unbilled transactions based on the date or period that you enter in the Bill Through Date or Bill Through Period in Billing Session Options.
    • You can open and view each document.
    • On a document-by-document basis, you can override the automatic printing of supporting documents with invoices if a project's billing terms specify that supporting documents always print with invoices.
  • When you open the dialog box by clicking the Expense tab or Units tab on the Interactive Billing form and then clicking or in the Documentation field for a transaction in the grid:
    • The dialog box displays the supporting documents for the selected transaction.
    • You can open and view the supporting documents for the selected transaction.
    • On a document-by-document basis, you can override the automatic printing of supporting documents with invoices if a project's billing terms specify that supporting documents always print with invoices.
    • You can upload new supporting documents for a transaction.
    • You can delete supporting documents for a transaction if the supporting documents were uploaded in Interactive Billing.

If you use the Vantagepoint on-premises product, the Supporting Documents feature is available only if you have configured Transaction Document Management. For more information about the configuration, see the Configuring Supporting Documents online help topic.
