Open a New Benefit Year

When you open a new absence accrual year, Vantagepoint zeroes out all year-to-date accrual totals for all employees. This includes year-to-date hours earned and taken.

To open a new benefit year:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Utilities > Utilities > Open New Absence Year.
  2. In the New Absence Accrual Year field on the Open New Absence Accrual year dialog box, enter the new year and then click OK to switch to the new benefit accrual year.
