When you decide to pursue a contract, you can create a promotional project as a repository of information about the business opportunity and/or to track time and expenses incurred during the pursuit process. - What to Do if Awarded Only Part of a Project
If you create a project record in Vantagepoint for a contract you are pursuing and you are awarded only part of that project, you can remove the project information that does not apply to the portion you won, or, if you want to preserve the information for the part you lost, you can create a second project for that information. - Default Plan Dates for New Projects

When you set up a project, you can use the options under Budget Validation on the Accounting tab of the Projects form to implement validation of time records based on either the budget or the plan for the project. That validation occurs as employees enter time on their timesheets. - Collaboration Integration
If the Collaboration integration with Vantagepoint is enabled, project teams can collaborate using Collaboration conversations from within the Projects hub in Vantagepoint. - Ajera Synchronization with CRM
When you have both Ajera and the CRM module or CRM Plus module, you can synchronize contact, firm, and project information that is entered in Vantagepoint with Ajera. This eliminates the need to enter data twice, which can reduce data entry errors.
