Search Hub Records
Because the hubs may contain a large number of records, Vantagepoint provides multiple methods for locating the hub records that you need.
You can use a standard, pre-defined search or create a new search.
- To select an existing search, use the Select Searches list at the top of the hub form and choose a standard, custom, or legacy search. The list displays searches that match the type of search that is selected and that your security role can access.
- To create a new search, click the + New Search option to open the New Search dialog box and create a new search that returns records from any of the hubs. See the Build a Basic Search and Build an Advanced Search help topics for information on creating a new search.

When you search for a hub record while in Detail View, the hub records that match the search criteria are displayed in the Find <hub record> list. You can use this list to open a specific hub record, or a subset of hub records, that you want to review or edit.
