Dashpart Bases
Project, Account Detail, Account, and Favorite Report are the available dashpart bases in Dashpart Designer.

Project |
Displays information based from the Projects hub as well as totals based on transactional information entered for the project. Some column data are links you can click to display an info bubble with additional information and a link to the relevant hub record. Refer to Info Bubbles and Help for more information. When you are creating a dashpart using this base, the available columns that you can use for the dashpart is based on the activated applications in Vantagepoint. To view WBS levels associated with a project, use the Name and/or Number columns. When selected, grouping is automatically set up based on the WBS level and these columns will appear as the first columns on the dashpart. |
Account Detail |
Displays information based from general ledger account information down to the transaction level. This dashpart base includes information like the activity for a certain period (using fiscal and date range filters). Information in this base can be grouped using available columns and total any amount columns and fiscal date range filters. For example, display activity for particular fiscal periods in each column comparing activity over time grouping by account will drill down to transaction level. This dashpart base is not available if the Vantagepoint database is configured with:

Account |
Displays information based from general ledger account summary information, and this dashpart base is available if Accounting is enabled in Vantagepoint. Use information from general ledger accounts to create a table or chart dashpart that you can view from a dashboard. The displayed information can be drilled-down further through available filter and sort options. |
Favorite Report |
Displays the selected report from a list of global favorite reports from Reporting in the desktop application. You can modify the information found in a global favorite report in the Reporting application. Any saved updates made to global favorite reports are reflected in the Favorite Report dashpart. If the Always Rebuild Report option is selected when you create or update the Favorite Report table dashpart, then the dashpart refreshes whenever you access the dashboard with the dashpart . Otherwise, the Favorite Report dashpart automatically refreshes the report every 24 hours. The date and time the report was updated displays in the right end of the dashpart title bar. Click
