Credit Memo Contents

You select a credit memo template to use for producing each project's credit memos.

You select a credit memo template for a project in the Credit Template field on the Format tab in Hubs > Projects > Billing Terms. You can select the Deltek-provided Default template or any custom templates that you created in with the Invoice Template Editor in Settings > Billing > Invoice Template Editor in the desktop application.

When you use the Default credit memo template, the following apply for the credit memo that is created in Interactive Billing:

  • A Credit Memo box displays at the top of the credit memo, instead of an Invoice box.
  • The date for the credit memo is the date that you entered on the Billing Session Options dialog box.
  • The Professional Services line (with start and end dates for the invoice) does not display.
  • The Labor, Expenses/Unit, and Fee sections print only the section headings and the credit amount on one line.
  • The Billing Backup report does not print for credit memos.
