Non-working Days and Planning Reports

The non-working days specified on the Non-Work Days tab in Resource Planning Settings affect the calculation of hours and amounts that display on Planning reports.

To calculate a plan's hours, cost amounts, or billing amounts, Vantagepoint checks the non-work days specified for the active company.

To prorate values or calculate standard hours for a plan, Vantagepoint checks the non-work days specified for the company that was active when the plan was created.

If hours or amounts are posted to a span of non-work days that fall completely within the start and end dates of a period column on a planning report, they are included on the report for that period.

If the hours or amounts are posted to a span of non-work days that do not completely fall within a period column on a planning report (for example, if they fall within more than one report period), the proration process may exclude them from the report.
