Assign Access Rights for Dashboards

You can specify the employees or user roles who are authorized to access a dashboard.

Appropriate access rights are needed to assign access rights for a dashboard.

These steps are not applicable when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To assign access rights for dashboards:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you are using a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. In the list of dashboards on the Navigation pane, select the dashboard to which you want to assign access rights.
  4. In the edit mode toolbar, click Share.
  5. On the Share this Dashboard dialog box, select user roles from the Roles drop-down list, or select employees from the Employees drop-down list.
  6. Repeat the process as needed and click Save.
    The Share this Dashboard dialog box closes.
  7. Click Save on the Dashboard form.
    The dashboard that you configured becomes immediately available to the respective employees.
