Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Hide a Column in an Existing Dashpart

Hide a column in a dashpart that you don't need to display on the dashboard.

You can hide columns in table or chart dashparts, but some columns will always be hidden for chart dashparts. Only those columns with the decimal or currency data type has the option to be displayed or hidden in a chart dashparts.

These steps are not applicable when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To hide a column in a dashpart:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you are using a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. Click Dashpart Library.
  4. In the Dashpart Library pane, hover over the dashpart with the column that needs to be hidden on the Dashpart Designer form.
  5. Click .
  6. In the column table area at the bottom of the Dashpart Designer form, find the column or columns that need to be hidden and click the corresponding option under Hide Column.
  7. Click Save.
