  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Copy a Dashpart

You can copy an existing dashpart and use it as the basis for a new dashpart.

These steps are not applicable when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To copy a dashpart:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Dashboards.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable editing.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you are using a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. In the edit mode toolbar, click Dashpart Library.
  4. In the Dashpart Library pane, find the dashpart that you want to copy and click to display it on the Dashpart Designer form.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. On the Copy Dashpart dialog box, enter a dashpart name and then click Save.
  7. On the Add to current dashboard dialog box, select an option based on what you want to do with the copied dashpart. Select Yes to add the copied dashpart to the opened dashboard and the Dashpart Library. Or select No to add the copied dashpart to the Dashpart Library without adding it to the opened dashboard.
    The copied dashpart is displayed on the Dashpart Designer form. You can now modify the available dashpart settings.
