Login Lockout

Unionpoint has a login lockout policy that provides tighter security measures.

When logging into the Portal, the following should be considered:

  • After 3 consecutive failed login attempts, you are locked out of your account.
  • Upon requesting password reset, you will receive an email with a reset link that is valid for only 1 hour. If not used within that period, the link expires and you need to restart the reset process.
  • Lockout period ends once the password has been reset.
  • A successful login resets the failed login count to 0.
