When you search for candidates on the Search Candidates screen, you are searching for applicants that are attached to requisitions. You are not searching the entire résumé database.
To search for candidates:

On the Search Candidates screen, select the search criteria or variables, such as job title, referral source, name (full or partial), or work schedule availability.
- To narrow search results, add more search variables.
- To broaden search results, use fewer criteria.

To limit your search to former employees, select the
Former Employees check box.

To exclude a category of candidates from the search, for
Exclude, select one or more of the following check boxes:
- Not Eligible for Re-hire

Eligible for Re-hire (Conditional)
- Not Eligible for Hire

Click the
Search button to see the candidates that meet your criteria listed on the Search Candidates Results screen.

To change your search after seeing the results, select one of the following actions on the Search Candidates Results screen:
- Click the
New Search button and then use the New Search screen to specify different criteria.
- Click the
Edit This Search button to open the Search Candidates screen again with all of your previous settings, modify only those criteria that you need to change, and run the search again.
