Reassign an Appraisal as a Manager

Managers can reassign a direct report’s appraisal to another manager if they feel that someone else is better suited to rate the employee from My Employees.

Managers reassign a direct report to another manager for appraisal purposes in the My Employees area.

Note: Reassigning an appraisal in the Review phase does not change appraisal scores. For example, if Laura Lopez enters ratings, then the appraisal is reassigned to Jason Marcus, Jason does not need to rate the employee. Laura’s scores remain in place and are identified as belonging to her.

To reassign an appraisal to another manager as a manger:

1. Click My Employees > My Employees.
2. Click the Performance tab, then the Appraisals button.
3. Find the appraisal in the Current Appraisal section. You may need to click the arrow next to the name, or Expand All to see Current Appraisals.
4. Click the Reassign arrow in the Actions menu for that appraisal.
5. Search for and select a new manager.
6. Enter a note explaining the change.
7. Click Submit.
