Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first screen that you see when you log on, and it contains these sections: User Profile, Alerts, Links, Widgets, Tasks, and News and Announcements.
User Profile
This section displays your profile picture. Click the View Profile button below the user profile picture to access your Total Talent Profile (TTP). You can also continue to access your TTP from the My Profile dropdown menu on the toolbar in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
Alerts
The highlighted section displays any important actions or notifications sent to you. An alerts button displays next to the welcome message at the top of the screen only if you have any pending alerts. Clicking the button to quickly access the list of important items that require your attention.
Click the Review link to display the screen on which you need to complete a task.
Click View More Alerts to see the complete list of items needing your attention. By default, only the first three alerts are displayed in this section.
Links
Depending on how your Administrator has configured the custom links for your company, this section can contain frequently visited Web sites for employees (internal or external), or frequently visited Web site pages.
Widgets
Widgets are the tables and graphs of summary data that are displayed on the Dashboard. You can add widgets to the Dashboard and display them in any sequence. The widgets available to you are based on your role in the organization and the application features that your firm uses.
Tasks
Tasks are action items that employees must complete on or before a specific date. Users who are associated with a Task are referred to as "stakeholders."
- Assignee: This is the person who is responsible for completing the task.
- Principal: This is the person who needs to ensure that the task is done.
- Follower: This is a person who has an interest in seeing the task finished, but is not responsible for completing it or for ensuring its completion.
News and Announcements
