Use the Top Navigation menus and the corresponding Sidebar options, as well as Toolbar options, to navigate the Reporting Tool.

Navigate the Reporting Tool using the following menus and options:

Field Description
Top Navigation Use the menus that display across the top of the screen to manage, create and import reports, administer and configure settings, groups and users, and use tools to perform tasks such as object management and table import. The menus and options you see across the Top Navigation depend on permissions assigned to your User Group.
  • Reporting: This menu is selected by default when you access the Reporting Tool. Reporting menu options may include: Reports, Report Wizard, Data Object Builder, Import Report.
  • Create Report: For ease of use, Create Report is tied to the Report Wizard option on the Reporting menu. Click Create Report to access the Report Wizard with one click.
  • Tools: This menu provides access to tasks related to maintenance. Options may include, Data Object Management, Denormalization Scripts, Report Statuses, Import Tables.
  • Administration: This menu provides access to administrative tasks such as Reporting Tool system settings, user and group settings, and data management. Administration menu options my include Settings, Groups, Users, User Events, and Data Management.
  • Talent Management: Click this option to close the Reporting Tool and return to the Talent Management interface.
Sidebar The menu options that display vertically on the left of the screen depend on the menu option selected from Top Navigation.
Toolbar Use the Toolbar to access your account information, manage the look of the user interface with Themes, access the Help, and log out of the Reporting Tool.
