Appraisal Administration

Administrators view and manage appraisals for all the employees in Talent Management on the Appraisal Administration screen. The screen indicates who has appraisals and who does not, and provides access to functions such as viewing, launching, cancelling, deleting, and reactivating or re-opening appraisals, bulk actions such as bulk launching appraisals and bulk closing appraisals, reassigning appraisals, and sending employees a letter.

Reassign Appraisals

Administrators learn how to reassign appraisals individually or in bulk.

Manage Appraisals

Administrators get an overview of general administration tasks on the Appraisal Administration screen, such as reassigning, copying, deleting, printing, and reactivating/re-opening a cancelled/closed appraisal.

Appraisal Overview

An appraisal includes many parts and actions available depending on your role as well as the Performance Workflow configuration.

Appraisal Workflows

Administrators use workflows to automate several functions of the employee appraisal process. Creating a workflow involves a 11-step wizard that includes choosing content, the scale used, which phases are involved, and scheduling events.

Scoring Appraisals

Employees and Managers enter appraisal scores. Scoring occurs during the Assessment and Review phases of an appraisal.

Configure Default Appraisal Print Settings

Managers approve and endorse skills and competencies that have been added to a direct report's Total Talent Profile. Approval and endorsement can be accessed via two different methods: My Employees page and the widget, New Skills and Competencies.

360 Workflows

Administrators use 360 Workflows Templates to configure several sections for a 360 assessment.

Launch 360 Assessments as an Administrator

These steps take you through launching an individual 360 assessment as an Administrator or Human Resources Business Partner. HRBP users see only those employees to which they are associated.

Bulk Launch 360 Assessments

Administrators and Human Resources Business Partners with proper permissions can launch 360 Appraisals in bulk on the 360s Administration screen. HRBP users see only those employees to which they are associated.

Launch 360 Assessments as a Manager

Managers follow these steps to launch a 360 assessment for a direct report. The steps you see depend on the workflow template selected. 360 assessments allow peers and outside individuals, such as vendors, to evaluate employee performance.

Review Results of 360 Assessment

After Participants have rated an employee, the employee’s manager moves the 360 assessment through assessment and review phases, and on to completion.

Continuous Feedback

Employees and Managers navigate to the Continuous Feedback feature, create and accept a meeting session, edit, delete, or add participants to a session, send messages in a session, sign-off and complete a session, and add the Continuous Feedback Widget to the Dashboard.

Employee Recognition

Give Employee Recognition

You can recognize the work of any employee at any time on the Give Recognition tab of the Employee Recognition Screen. Employee Recognition and the Employee Recognition Page sub-feature must be enabled before Employee Recognition displays on the Performance menu.

Badge Recognition

Administrators create, edit, delete, and manage badges that align with the types of performance and values important to your company. Employees select badges when giving recognition.

Manage Employee Recognition Public Tab

The Public Employee Recognition feature is one of four sub-features of the Employee Recognition feature. To manage Public recognitions, the Public Employee Recognition and Employee Recognition Deletion features must be enabled.
