Actions
The button and icons on the Development Plans screen perform the following functions. The functions you see depend on how your Administrator configured Development Plans, and whether you or your manager created the plan.
Icon | Action | Description |
---|---|---|
Add Development Plan | Click this button to create a new development plan. Depending on how your administrator has enabled this feature, you can create plans for yourself, your direct reports, and your indirect reports. | |
Activate/Deactivate/Cannot Update Own Plan | Click this icon to activate or deactivate a development plan.
A closed lock means that the development plan is active and the employee is expected to complete it. An open lock means that it is inactive and the employee is not expected to complete it. You cannot add new items to an inactive plan. Employee’s can only deactivate plans created by the employee. Only an administrator or an employee’s manager can deactivate an employee’s plan. No plan with a Status of Completed can be deactivated. |
