  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Product Listings Window

Use this window to browse, research, add, and manage product listings for your A/E firm's projects.

The Product Listings window enables your product selection workflow. You can use the available features to browse, filter, research, and select products for your projects. This window has the following main features which allow you to perform the following tasks:

Feature Description
Product Listing Filters This window provides multiple filters which enable you to search for specific listings and refine your product selection. The filters that you set apply to the available product listings on both the Results tab and the Remaining Products tab.
Results Tab This tab displays the available product listings of type Premium MasterSpec, Premium, and Manufacturer based on your set product listing filters. The product listings are in the form of product listing cards.

Use the Results tab to browse and research products that you can add to your A/E firm's project specifications.

Remaining Products Tab This tab displays the available related products (as product listing cards) based on your selected category and product listing filters. Use the Remaining Products tab to explore products (of type Premium Proprietary) that are available outside MasterSpec families.
Product Listing Details Pane This pane enables you research the available information of your selected product listing card. This includes photos, documents, links, and product properties.

Note: The actions available in the Product Listings window depend on your user permission. For more information, see User Permissions.
The Product Listings window has two modes which determine the actions that you can perform and how the window displays the available listings. These modes depend on the location from where you opened the window. The following modes are available:
  • Product Listings Window for General Browsing: Use this window to browse and research products, such as recent listings, to scope product options for your project specifications. You can access this window mode from the home dashboard.
  • Product Listings Window at the Project Level: Use this window to browse, research, add, and manage products for a particular project. You can access this window mode from the classic workspace or new workspace for an active project.
