Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Product Decisions - Win/Loss Map Report

Use the contents of this report to generate, view, and download data on the overall product decisions, decision wins, and win percentages for a given family, product type, time frame, and geographic location.

Navigate to the following contents:

Report Parameters

Use the following report parameters to generate the report:

Field Description
Family Select a family element under which the product decisions for the report belong.
Product Type Select a product type element under which the product decisions for the report belong.
Year Select the year when the report data applies.
Months through Select the month when the report data starts and the month when the report data ends.
Group data by Select whether to group the report data by State or by City.

Report Contents

The following elements are available in the heat map:

Element Description
Base MapUse this map to view the area, geography, name, and other characteristics of the available locations.
Region HighlightThis element is available only if you select the State option.

This highlight indicates that a region has product decision wins and losses for your BPM. The color of the highlight depends on the number of product decisions.

Hover over a highlighted region to view its name, wins, losses, and win percentage.

Status Icon This element is available only if you select the City option. One of the following icons mark a city with available data to indicate its win/loss status:
  • : This indicates that your BPM mostly has product decision wins in the city.
  • : This indicates that your BPM has roughly an equal number of product decision wins and losses in the city.
  • : This indicates that your BPM mostly has product decision losses in the city.

Depending on the zoom level, the heat map groups cities together and displays a circle with the number of cities in the group.

Hover over a marked city to view its name, wins, losses, and win percentage.

Zoom Controls (+ and -)Click the + button to zoom in the map or click the - button to zoom out.

Data Table Options

Use the following options to manage the report's data table:

Option Description
Show Data Table or Hide Data TableClick this option to show or hide the data table of the report.
SearchEnter a value for which to search in any column of the data table.

Specpoint processes the search as you enter a value in this field.

DownloadClick this button and select one of the following options to download the data table as a CSV or PDF file:
  • Export as CSV
  • Export as PDF

Data Table Contents

The following columns are available in the data table:

Column Description
CountryThis column is available only if you select the City option.

This column displays the country where the A/E firms made the product decisions which your BPM won or lost.

RegionThis column displays the region where the A/E firms made the product decisions which your BPM won or lost.
CityThis column is available only if you select the City option.

This column displays the city where the A/E firms made the product decisions which your BPM won or lost.

DecisionsThis column displays the number of all decisions that A/E firms made in the region or city.
WinsThis column displays the number of product decision wins for your BPM in the region or city.
Win %This column displays the win percentage of your BPM in the region or city.
