Set Up Your User Account

Accept the user invitation email and enter your password to begin using Specpoint.

The administrator for your BPM will set up your user account. Afterwards, Deltek sends you a user invite email.

To set up your Specpoint user account:

  1. Open the user invite email in your inbox and click Activate Your Login.
    If you cannot find the invite email in your inbox, check your spam folder.
  2. On the Create Password screen, enter your New Password.
  3. In the Confirm Password field, enter your new password again to confirm.
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions:
    1. Click the link (https://www.deltek.com/en/deltek-contracts/specpoint-bpm) and read the available general terms and SaaS terms.
    2. Select the checkbox.
    3. Click Accept.
    If you do not accept the terms and conditions, Specpoint will end your user session. On your next login, Specpoint will prompt you to read and accept the terms and conditions.
  5. In the My Profile window, update your profile information:
    1. Enter the Prefix for your name such as a salutation or title.
    2. Enter your First Name.
    3. Enter your Last Name.
    4. Enter the Suffix for your name such as your credentials.
    5. In the Title field, enter your full title or position name.
    6. Enter your Phone Number.
    7. In the Address 1 field, enter the first line of your address.
    8. In the Address 2 field, enter the second line of your address if applicable.
    9. In the City field, enter the city where you are located.
    10. In the State/Province field, enter the state or province where you are located.
    11. In the Postal Code field, enter the postal code for your location.
    12. In the Country field, select the country where you are located.
    13. Click Save.
    Note: The Role field displays the professional role that your BPM administrator assigned to you. To update your role, contact your BPM administrator.
  6. Upload a profile photo:
    1. Click Upload an Image.
    2. In the file upload utility, select an image to use.
      You can drag and drop a file, copy and paste a file, or select a file from your device. You can also select a file from various third-party file storage platforms.

      Use the following recommended image formats: JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PNG.

    3. Edit the image.
      You can crop, crop into a circle, and rotate the image.
    4. Click Save.
    5. Click Upload.

  7. In the My Profile window, click Save.
The My Profile window automatically displays only when you set up your user account. For more information on succeeding logins, see Log In to Specpoint.
