Set Up Your BPM

As the designated account administrator for your BPM, activate your administrator account and update your company information to set up Specpoint for your BPM.

Your Deltek onboarder will set up the company account for your BPM and Deltek sends you a user invite email. As the designated account administrator, you can modify your BPM information, update your own user information, and begin adding other BPM administrators and users.

To set up your BPM account:

  1. Open the user invite email in your inbox and click Activate Your Login.
    If you cannot find the invite email in your inbox, check your spam folder.
  2. On the Create Password screen, enter your New Password.
  3. In the Confirm Password field, enter your new password again to confirm.
    Your account is now active and you can now access Specpoint.
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions:
    1. Click the link (https://www.deltek.com/en/deltek-contracts/specpoint-bpm) and read the available general terms and SaaS terms.
    2. Select the checkbox.
    3. Click Accept.
    If you do not accept the terms and conditions, Specpoint will end your user session. On your next login, Specpoint will prompt you to read and accept the terms and conditions.
  5. In the My Profile window, update your profile information:
    1. Enter the Prefix for your name such as a salutation or title.
    2. Enter your First Name.
    3. Enter your Last Name.
    4. Enter the Suffix for your name such as your credentials.
    5. In the Title field, enter your full title or position name.
    6. Enter your Phone Number.
    7. In the Address 1 field, enter the first line of your address.
    8. In the Address 2 field, enter the second line of your address if applicable.
    9. In the City field, enter the city where you are located.
    10. In the State/Province field, enter the state or province where you are located.
    11. In the Postal Code field, enter the postal code for your location.
    12. In the Country field, select the country where you are located.
    Note: The Role field is blank. You cannot update your role in this window. To update your role, use the admin settings for your account. For more information, see Edit User Account Information.
  6. Upload a profile photo:
    1. Click Upload an Image.
    2. In the file upload utility, select an image to use.
      You can drag and drop a file, copy and paste a file, or select a file from your device. You can also select a file from various third-party file storage platforms.

      Use the following recommended image formats: JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PNG.

    3. Edit the image.
      You can crop, crop into a circle, and rotate the image.
    4. Click Save.
    5. Click Upload.

  7. In the My Profile window, click Save.
  8. On the Account Settings page, verify and modify information about your BPM:
    Note: This page contains the information that you submitted to your Deltek onboarder.
    1. In the Public Phone Number field, select a country number format and enter your BPM's phone number.
    2. In the Website field, enter the URL for your BPM's website.
    3. In the Address 1 field, enter the first line of your BPM's address.
    4. In the Address 2 field, enter the second line of your BPM's address, if applicable.
    5. In the City field, enter the city where your BPM is located.
    6. In the State/Province field, enter the state or province where your BPM is located.
    7. In the Postal Code field, enter the postal code for your BPM's location.
    8. In the Country field, select the country where your BPM is located.
  9. Click Save.
The My Profile window and Account Settings page automatically display only when you set up your BPM's account. For more information on succeeding logins, see Log In to Specpoint.
