Edit From and To Dates

Project managers and/or resource managers can edit the From and To dates for such events in the Resourcing Project area (at the top of the RO / Resourcing workspace).

You can easily adjust the start and end dates by dragging the tips of the relevant Gantt sticks. Alternately, you can move entire blocks forward or backward in time by dragging on the body or dates in the Gantt sticks to change the dates. When you adjust the dates, the cell bookings under the event are automatically refreshed to match the new start and/or end dates.

Note: When you drag and drop the dates of the project, none of its children (tasks/summary/subprojects) follow or dictate the start and finish dates of the main parent project.

This feature does not support resizing on milestones or summary lines.
