Process Servers and Queues
Use this form to manage the process servers and queues for PM Compass and Cobra.

Process Servers
This section allows you to set the duration for which the application will retain process logs.

Servers | This grid displays all available servers, and allows you to enter a new server. |

Click this button and select Delete to remove the selected server from the grid. | |
+ Add Server | Click this button to add a server. Once a server is added, its name displays in the grid. |
Process Log Retention
This section allows you to set the duration for which the application will retain process logs.
Field | Description |
---|---|
No of days to retain logs without errors | Enter the number of days logs that do not contain errors are retained. You can enter up to 32,767. By default, it is set to 1. |
No of days to retain logs with errors | Enter the number of days logs that contain errors are retained. You can enter up to 32,767. By default, it is set to 1. |
Process Queues
This section allows you to add, modify, delete, pause, or continue a process queue.
Field | Description |

NAME | This column displays the name of the queue. |
SERVER | This column displays the server running the queue. You can select the server from the drop-down list, which only contains servers available in the Servers grid. |
MAXIMUM CONCURRENT JOBS | This column displays the maximum number of jobs from the selected queue that can run concurrently on the process server. By default, it is set to
0, which indicates unlimited number of concurrent jobs.
The number of jobs processing for a queue will never be more than the number in this field. |
STATUS | This column displays the status of available queues. It displays either Stopped or Running. |
Click this button and select one of the following actions for each row:

+ Add Queue | Click this button to add a process queue. |
You can define multiple process queues, each of which may be monitored by individual process servers simultaneously. If you modify a process queue that is currently running or has been paused (meaning, the process queue is assigned to a process server), PM Compass does not reflect changes to the queue setup until the next poll of the process queue by its associated process server.
