Add a Role

Use this procedure to add a role.

To add a role:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select SECURITY > Roles.
    By default, Roles Detail View displays. To switch between views, click (Roles List View) or (Roles Detail View) at the upper portion of the form.
  2. At the upper right part Roles of any view, click + New Role.
    The Roles Detail View with the GENERAL tab displays by default.
  3. On the GENERAL tab, complete the necessary fields.

    You need to enter a unique name for the role.

    By default, all menu items on the Permissions tab for each product are visible and not enabled.

  4. When you are done, click Save.
