Disable the World Group

Use this procedure to disable the World group.

The WORLD Group is a special group that automatically includes all users. This group is useful to add to access control to allow all users access. The group cannot be deleted, copied, nor can you assign users to this group. It does not display in the Groups List View or Group Detail View. It does appear when setting access control by group. If you do not want users to be able to select this group in access control, select to disable this group.

To disable the World group:

1. In the Navigation pane, select SECURITY > System.
   The System form displays with the AUTHENTICATION tab selected by default.
2. Select the SETTINGS tab.
3. On the SETTINGS tab, select the Disable World Group option.
   Selecting this option hides the World group in the access control within the individual products.
