Remove a User from a Group on the Groups Form

Use this procedure to remove or unassign a user from a group on the Groups form.

You cannot delete Special Default groups, like SYSADMIN and WORLD.

To remove a user from a group:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select SECURITY > Groups.
    By default, Groups Detail View displays. To switch between views, click (Groups List View) or (Groups Detail View) at the upper portion of the form.
  2. On the Groups form, find and select an existing user that you want to remove from the group.
    You can use the Find Group field at the top of Groups Detail View or click at the upper-right corner of the grid on Groups List View,
  3. On Groups Detail View, select the Users tab.
  4. On the Users tab, in the grid, select the user(s) you want to remove.
  5. At the top left part of the grid, click Unassign Users.
  6. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.

    You can also remove users from a group on the Users form.
