Filter the Grid Results

When there are a large number of records in a grid, you can filter the results to further refine the records that display.

To filter the rows in a grid:

  1. Click Filter in the upper-right corner of the grid.
  2. In the column by which you want to filter, take any of the following depending on the column:
    • Click the operator button and select an operator (for example, = Equals).
    • Enter a character in the cell.
    • Select a value from the drop-down list.
  3. In the filter field next to the operator, enter or select a filter value.
    The grid updates to display the records that fit the criteria that you enter. A Filter icon displays to the left of the column name to indicate that you are filtering by a value in that column.
  4. To hide the filter fields, click Filter in the upper-right corner of the grid.
  5. To remove filter criteria, delete text from the filter field.
