Define Activity Codes in Open Plan

After the activity codes are defined in Open Plan, you can then add these fields in PM Compass using the Source Fields tab under the Schedule area on User Defined Data form.

To define activity codes:

1. Open the project to which you want to assign a code file in Exclusive mode.

2. Display the Project Properties dialog box for the selected project.

3. In the Project Properties dialog box, click the Files tab.

4. In the Code Files grid, click .

5. In the Code Files column, select the code file that you want to assign to the project.

6. In the Code field to assign code file to column, select the code field to which you want to assign the code file.

7. Click Assign.

8. In the Code File Prompt dialog box, enter a label for the code file, and click OK.

9. Click OK to close the Project Properties dialog box.
