Edit the Properties of Multiple Documents
You can edit up to 100 documents in a basket using the Bulk Edit Properties feature. You can update the assigned document pools, entity attributes, and the current version information. When you bulk edit documents in this way, it applies the same updates to all selected documents.
The following documents cannot be edited: Documents undergoing approval, DLM documents, Revit documents, documents originating from Deltek Collaboration and Engage, documents that are checked out, archived documents, and any documents that you do not have write permissions on.
To edit the properties of multiple documents:
- Navigate to the Information Zone or the Documents tab on an entity record, such as a project or organization.

If Smart View is enabled, use the
Smart View slider to toggle it off.
- Click the Basket tab.
- Use the Current Basket list to select the basket that you want to edit documents from.
- On the toolbar, click Bulk Edit Properties.
- Optional:
On the Edit Properties window, do the following:
- Select one or more document pools to publish the documents to.
- In the Select Attributes pane, specify any entity records that you want to associate with the documents.
- If you wish to update the details or version comments for the selected documents, click the Details/Comments tab, and then click the respective toggle to enable the edit field.
- When you are ready to update the documents, click Publish.
