Creating Communications
When you want to send communications to people for a campaign, you can either create mail merge letters for selected contacts, or you can send an email.
Attention: If a contact has selected the No Contact option for any of their contact methods in their contact record, they are excluded from all campaign communications.

You can create a custom letter from a template stored in the DMS to send to selected contacts in a campaign. If a template includes dynamic fields, such as the date or contact name, they are automatically populated when the letter is created. - Send a HTML Email
You can send a HTML-formatted email to selected contacts in a campaign using an existing email template. - Send a Basic Email
You can send a basic email to selected contacts in a campaign.
