Window Bindings Concepts
A window binding specifies a parent container, subordinate container, pane type, and optionally field restrictions.
These bindings control the data paths used when a smart summary type requires information from multiple related windows. Field restrictions can match subordinate fields to parent fields or fixed values, enabling precise control over the dataset provided to the summary engine. Window bindings ensure that smart summaries draw from appropriate and valid relationships between data entities.
For more information about configuring window bindings for smart summaries, refer to the Deltek Maconomy System Admin Guide.
