Approvals by Employee Concepts
The Approvals by Employee workspace helps you keep track of approval tasks assigned to each employee. It's designed for super users who need to make sure approvals are moving forward and nothing gets stuck. This workspace is divided into three tabs: Approvals, Absence, and Employee.
The Approvals tab shows all the approval tasks an employee is responsible for. You can see what kind of approval it is, who the main approver is, if there's a substitute, and if there's a higher-level approver or a super approver. You can also check the status of each task. This helps you quickly spot delays and know who to follow up with [KM1] . The Approvals tab shows more details about the record that is pending approval. There is also a link in the assistant that opens the record in the workspace. In some cases the user may be able to do the approval in the assistant if needed.
The Absence tab shows when an employee is on leave. It includes the first and last day of their absence and how long they'll be away. This is helpful if you need to reassign approvals while someone is out of the office.
The Employee tab gives you more details about the employee, such as their contact information, job title, and type. It also shows who they report to, who supports them, and who their substitutes are. This gives you the full picture so you can make better decisions about managing approvals.
This workspace helps you stay on top of who's responsible for what, whether they're available, and who can step in if needed.
