Info Center Basics and Searches

If you are new to GovWin Capture Management and the Info Centers, review the basics before you create and work with records for your employees, contracts, contacts, and so on.

In any Info Center, you can add new records. When you specify an identifier for the new record, GovWin Capture Management checks the database for existing records with the same name. If any exist, GovWin Capture Management displays the Potential Duplicate Records Found dialog box.

    You can customize the Info Center. You can create new, user-defined Info Centers with specific properties, fields, grids, labels, and help URLs. You can also add or change standard fields and grids.

    The auto numbering feature generates an identification number for new records created in the Contract, Employee, Vendor/Partner, Customer, Opportunity, and Marketing Campaign Info Centers.
  • Procedures
    Some procedures for working with records are standard across all the Info Centers.
  • Screens
    Some dialog boxes display in more than one Info Center.
