View the Version History of a Document

You can view previous versions of a document. GovWin Capture Management retains document history only if you enable versioning for the library in which this document resides. If versioning is not enabled, only the current version remains in history.

Prerequisite: Enable versioning on the Document Management form in General Configuration.

To view the version history of a document, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the document.
  2. Click History.
  3. On the Document Version History dialog box, select one of the following actions:
    • View the document or save it locally.

    • Delete the selected version of the document.

    • Restore the document to a previous version.

    • Delete all prior versions of the document.

  4. Click OK.
