File Upload Dialog Box

Use the File Upload dialog box to link a document to an Info Center record. The selected document uploads to SharePoint and links to the info record that you select.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Info Center and then select the Info Center.
  2. Click the Documents tab.
  3. Browse to and select the document.
  4. Click Insert.
  5. Click Upload New Document.

Field Description
File Click the Browse button to locate the document.
Title Enter a name for the document.
Description

Enter a description of the document. Press SHIFT+ENTER to start a new line of text. Press ENTER to start a new paragraph.

Click Edit to use the Text Editor to enter information.

Application This field displays the name of the current Info Center.
Records

This field displays the current Info Center record. Click OK to upload the document to the current location (site, library, folder) of the selected record.

To select a different Info Center record, click in this field and click Search to use the lookup to select a record.

Add File Click this button to locate the file to upload. Click Open when you find the document.
OK Click this button to upload the file.
