Document Version History Dialog Box

Use the Document Version History dialog box to view previous versions of a document. GovWin Capture Management retains document history if you enable versioning for the library in which the document resides. Click a heading to change the sort order from ascending to descending or from descending to ascending.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Info Center and then select the Info Center.
  2. Click the Documents tab.
  3. Browse to and select the document.
  4. Click History.

Field Description
View Click this icon to display the selected version of the document.
Delete Click this icon to remove the selected version of the document. You cannot delete or restore the current version of the document. A message displays when the document is deleted.
Restore Click this icon to cancel the prior deletion. A message displays when the document is restored. This document is assigned a new version number. You cannot delete or restore the current version of the document.
Delete Previous Click this icon to delete all previous versions of the document. Only the current version remains.
Version This column displays the version number for the document. Each time that a document is checked back in or restored, it is given a new version number. By default, documents are listed from the newest version to the oldest version. You can change the sort sequence.
Modified This column displays the date and time that the file was last checked in.
Modified By This column displays the Windows logon name of the user who last checked out this document.
Size This column displays the size of the file.
Comments This column displays the comments associated with the check in.
