Activity Manager Overview
Use the Activity Manager to access all completed or pending activities for which you have security access. You can schedule, copy, delete, modify, and review your customer, contact, lead, marketing campaign, employee, opportunity, and contract activities.
The Activity Calendar, Activity Manager, Info Center, and Dashboard applications share activity data. With the Activity Manager, you add, modify, or delete activity information, and your modifications are immediately available in the other three applications.
The only exception is that the Activity Calendar displays only phone calls, meetings, and tasks. To view other types of activities, you must use the Activity Manager, Info Center, or Dashboard.
When you delete an activity, the activity is removed from the following applications:
- The Activity Calendar for each employee included on the attendee list.
- The Activity Manager for all employees.
- The Activities grid in the Employee Info Center record for each employee included on the attendee list.
- The Activities grid of the associated Info Center records.
- The Dashboard for each employee included on the attendee list.
